Paul Moore Bio

Paul Moore Profile Picture
(b. 1957) Paul Moore was born in Oklahoma City a member of the (Creek) Muscogee Nation, Sweet Potato Clan. A long time resident of Santa Fe, Paul Moore now lives in his native state, where he was recruited as the Artist in Residence at the University of Oklahoma. Moore is in constant demand for portrait and monumental commissions, having sculpted more than 110 such commissions for numerous municipal, corporate, private, and international collections. Currently, he is working on the Oklahoma Centennial Land Run Monument, which will commemorate the spirit and determination of those who rode in Oklahoma’s five land runs. It will be one of the world’s largest bronzes when completed.
He has received awards from the National Sculpture Society in New York City, the 45th Annual Cowboy Artist for America Show, and the University of Oklahoma.
